July 11 ALL-DAY Picnic at Pfeil Creek
(an extremely rustic and secluded shelter)  noon to sunset

Remember the FHA July picnic of ‘94? We had music, food, fun, and OVER 75 PEOPLE!

Join us as we try to recreate that energy, and you’ll get: FREE FOOD  *  FREE SODA and TEA  *  GREAT CONVERSATION   * A CHANCE TO SEE OLD FRIENDS (because we are inviting everyone who has ever attended an FHA function) * A CHANCE TO MAKE NEW FRIENDS  * MUSIC SURPRISES! * MUCH MUCH MORE!!

JOIN US FOR THE SPECIAL 4-PERSON VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT!
Do you have to be good?  Not really!  Just hope you get on a good team, because we’ll select the teams by drawing your name (and three others) out of a hat. Your team keeps playing until you lose twice.  Not into playing?  No problem—watching is a hilarious adventure. The winning team gets a PRIZE!!!!!

You bring yourself, friends, and an appetite.  We’ll provide the rest.

Pfeil Creek Shelter is behind the River Rat Bait Shop.  Look for it as you take the River Pond exit off of Tuttle Creek Blvd.  It’s the shelter with the (somewhat) swinging bridge. This is a very private (secluded) and very huge shelter.

This is a Flint Hills Alliance-sponsored event.  21 and over: Please drink responsibly.

July 19 Sunday Afternoon Movie Matinee with Dave, Chris, and Tim
Contact Tim for details!

August 20 Welcome Back Potluck at Bob and David's, 6:30 pm

Kansas Rainbow Listserv is Now On-Line
The Kansas Rainbow Listserv (KR-L) is now up and running. KR-L has over one-hundred email subscribers with representation from all Kansas Regent’s universities and Washburn. Non-university subscribers come from as far away as Italy and Australia; a few subscribers are Kansas alumni who live in other parts of the United States. KR-L replaces the former mq (which was Manhattan specific) and the former kqn (Equality Kansas) listservs. KR-L is non-moderated, which means that subscribers can post freely post messages and initiate discussion on various issues. Manhattan subscribers are urged to remember that KR-L is NOT Manhattan specific; therefore, in order to trim the growing volume of posts on KR-L, postings concerning Manhattan/KSU meetings and parties should be sent to bgls@ksu.edu.
Anyone interested in subscribing to KR-L may contact Deb at dtaylor@debtaylor.com. -----------------------------------------------
